Love -- fantasize about the minivan. But how cool to be so wanted, eh?

Congratulations! That's great. I know what you mean. Before Frances was born, I was so ambitious. Now? As long as the job pays enough and doesn't require me to work too much overtime, I don't really care. IT's almost sad. I feel like I'm wasting my brain. But I can't stand to be away from Frances more than I am already.

I know - I used to be totally type A and now, things have so changed. It used to be, wow, I ordered a $400 bottle of wine at the closing dinner!! I'm a shooter. Now it's - hey, I didn't have too much food thrown at me at dinner. I'm a shooter!! It's still type A but I just want to get different things done I guess. Good luck with your decision!

:) It's amazing how we come around! I am definitely a type A personality, it's just now focused on other things... I think in some ways I am now spoiled after getting to have the summers off. I have gotten used to be able to goof off whenever I want, or to go have fun - you know, all the irresponsible things a type A like myself never got when I was a kid, and I am not sure that it is not a deep desire to not always have to be the responsible one that is keeping me from being back into the work thing.. ah well..
